Staff Development coordinator

Lewis County Health System has immediate opening for a Staff Development Coordinator. Duties involve responsibility for planning, coordinating and conducting comprehensive in-service education and human resources programs for facility employees, both professional and non-professional personnel. Duties will also include taking an active role in nurse recruitment activities. Although the position involves coordination of training for all hospital personnel, the primary emphasis is on the in-service training of nursing services personnel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Either:

A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and two years of experience in professional nursing or in the planning and development of in-service training or education classes; or

B) Graduation from an approved three-year school of nursing and three years of experience in professional nursing or in the planning and development of in-service training or educational classes; or

C) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered two year college with an associate’s degree in nursing and four years of experience in professional nursing or in the planning and development of in-service training or educational classes; or

D) An equivalent combination of experience and training as defined by the limits of (A), (B), and (C).a part-time
